Ubisoft had a very strong press conference, showing off a hand full of surprise blockbusters and indies alike. South Park: The Fractured but Whole, For Honor, Anno 2025, Trackmania Turbo and of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. While only an awkward performance from Jason Derulo, the rest was great. Here is Ubisoft’s E3 press conference recap.
South Park: The Fractured but Whole
What a way to start off a press briefing. Showing a hilarious trailer for a sequel to The Stick of Truth and even bringing out creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker was a fantastic start. The boys have switched from wizards and elves to superheroes, as players once again take control of the new kid and learn of their own superhero origin.
For Honor
A brand new I.P., For Honor is a 4 vs. 4 online multiplayer third person action game. Players choose an army from history’s greatest warriors; knights, samurais and vikings alike. The teams fight alongside a horde of NPC controlled bots, clashing against other players with tight close quarters combat complete with plenty of blood and guts. For Honor will have a beta soon.
The Crew Wild Run
The Crew is getting it’s first DLC in Wild Run. Taking racers to the desert to race with dirt bikes, monster trucks and rally cars with new summit racers. Wild Run will also give The Crew a complete graphical overhaul.
Trials Fusion Awesome Level Max
Trials Fusion Awesome Level Max changes the players biker avatar to a cat with a gold gun riding a fire-breathing unicorn, enough said. Awesome Level Max will be available July 14 2015.
The Division
Ubisoft lifted the veil on The Darkzone, a quarantined area located in Manhattan. Players will meet other factions, players and NPC controlled enemies. The Darkzone is full of rare loot, enticing players to take the risk. The Division will have a beta for Xbox One, PS4 and PC early next year, will launch March 2016.
Anno 2025
Anno is a city builder that boast the ability to eventually travel to the moon and build a lunar civilization.
Just Dance 2016
The next installment in the biggest music game franchise, Just Dance is the first time where no camera is needed. Players can use their smartphone as controllers provided their console is compatible. Launching for present and past consoles, Just Dance 2016 will also launch Just Dance Unlimited, a song streaming service available only on PS4, Xbox One and WiiU. The feature will have over 150 songs at launch. Just Dance 2016 is available October 2015.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
In addition to the online multiplayer, Rainbow Six Siege will contain the popular TerrorHunt. The single or cooperative game mode will have players team up to assault a building full of terrorist. TerrorHunt will have 4 different modes including classic. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege launches next year, with a beta starting September 24 2015.
Trackmania Turbo
The PC arcade racer is heading to consoles with more tracks and a shiny new track creation tool. Trackmania is a fast paced racing game where player race not only for points but high scores.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
Ubisoft showed off the newest cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The newest entry in the popular AC franchise has players running around 1868 London as twins Jacob and Evie Frye.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
The newest Ghost Recon is an open world, third person shooter that gives players options on how to complete missions. Loud, stealth or fast and hard are only a handful of ways to assault a drug compound.
