Google has launched new gaming-focused features at Games Developers Conference in San Francisco. These new updates will bridge the gap between the two major mobile platforms: Android and iOS. Google Play Games has existed for both Android and iOS before, but the future brings players together despite the platform. The update will integrate Google Play Game services into iOS apps and enable their players across Android and iOS challenge each other to multiplayer matches. Google is also rolling out a C++ SDK that’ll fold in all-important achievements and leaderboards.
For those who enjoy games on mobile devices, this surely is good news.
