As a student of history, mythology, and literature, Gygax made the dragons in classic AD&D (which Dragon’s Dogma borrows liberally from) more within plausible proportions, in relation to humans and physics; they range from 24 to 54 feet long, depending on their color (Tiamat and Bahamut are larger than that, the exception being that they are deities). Making them many times larger than a dinosaur, so immense that a person could build a house in their mouths, is just silly. They would be impossible to take on. Go wrestle a real life crocodile, or an overgrown python — not a pushover — add intelligence, breath weapon, great flexibility, the ability to fly, spellcasting, dextrous talons, a razor tail, and you have a formidable opponent.

Keep bullshitting yourself, fanboy. The graphics were outdated and looked ugly, the storyline was generic and cliched and the multiplayer is something we’ve already seen before. I repeat: keep bullshitting yourself. At that time even Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune had bette graphics and even Crysis. All the games mentioned on this list is 10X better than CoD4. Yeah sure, CoD4 “skyrocketed” sales, but sales can be determined by a number of different factors. Maybe it sold because kids never saw an FPS before. The game was certainly a disappointment when I played it for the first time on my cousin’s 50 inch HDTV, the graphics looked so PS2-ish, that I was disappointed with this generation as a whole, until I saw Uncharted, and Metal Gear Solid 4. CoD4 is nothing but an overrated piece of outdated garbage.
