Borderlands Review

Posted by MkaY On August - 3 - 20101 COMMENT

I know that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel to create a good game. That is why we tend to see games copying each other’s ideas resulting in a flop or a success. But when a game combines different game genress together, it is risky business, but sometimes the risk is worth it; such is the case with Gearbox‘s Borderlands. Following a story of four... (more...)

Red Dead Redemption Review

Posted by MkaY On June - 2 - 20101 COMMENT

Six years ago I finished Red Dead Revolver and thought that we should get more games like that. We’ve seen a few now, but now we can enjoy from the sequel Red Dead Redemption. While in this sequel, almost everything is different from the first title, it is still one hell of a game. Maybe all those delays in the production were worth it after all, since Rockstar San... (more...)

Modnation Racers Review

Posted by MkaY On May - 24 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

Mario Kart has held the throne for Kart racing games for a long while now and many attempts has been made to usurp Mario Kart from its throne. Few months ago, Endless Bag of Games gave a review to a decent attempt: Sonic & SEGA All-Stars racing, but the game shared some minor mishaps since the online feeling was not quite there (tournaments and cups missing from online).... (more...)

Once again, PopCap Games deliver some pleasure eating two dimensional fish. It is still addictive and frustrating as ever. This child-friendly game will deliver a good option to find your place in the marina-foodchain. So chomp your way through an underwater mystery, play solo or online to dodge some predators or just try to stay alive. 60 levels, a decent amount of fun... (more...)

Prince of Persia Review

Posted by MkaY On April - 26 - 20103 COMMENTS

Year 2010 might be a good year for Prince of Persia. There is the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie coming at May 28th and, also in May, the release of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands which is the next chapter in the fan-favorite Sands of Time universe. Since we still have to wait for a while for the next Prince of Persia experience, Endless Bag of Games... (more...)

Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Posted by MkaY On April - 21 - 20101 COMMENT

“Let’s put a smile on that face!” said Joker, but I believe that the developers of Batman: Arkham Asylum also had similar plans when they started to develop the game. Ok, we already know that Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 is under development and approaching our consoles as we speak, so I think we should take a look why Joker’s quotation is a stone cold truth... (more...)

Final Fantasy XIII Review

Posted by MkaY On April - 5 - 20103 COMMENTS

Let’s get right to it Final Fantasy XIII is one of those games that some people hold them almost in a religious position in their lives. Square Enix has always delivered a solid Final Fantasy experience every time and this time is not an exception, although some aspects of the game can be seen as mishaps in the eyes of more experienced gamers. The game begins lifting... (more...)

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Review

Posted by MkaY On March - 29 - 20101 COMMENT

It is clear that during the past years, Nintendo has been holding the nro.1 spot go-kart racer market. There has been many attempts to usurp Mario Kart from its throne, but all the attempts has been clearly outmatched. Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, however, provides a serious competitor. Which also means, that PS3 finally receives a good kart-game. The first impression... (more...)

White Knight Chronicles Review

Posted by MkaY On March - 6 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

White Knight Chronicles International, an anticipated game by Level-5, is another light RPG to spend hours with. You’ll be seeing flying colossal airships, see birds that can project holographs from their eyes, you’ll be saving some princesses and see some giant “giant-robot” style of knight sequences. The game has sense of humor and is not too... (more...)

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Review

Posted by MkaY On March - 1 - 20101 COMMENT

It’s been a while since the title Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm was released and PS3 got it’s first Naruto themed game. Now when Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 has been announced for Xbox 360 and PS3, it is time to say few words about the first game. You can probably find the game already with astonishly low prices since the game has somewhat been... (more...)

Peggle Review

Posted by MkaY On February - 21 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

When a game makes its way through other platforms, it usually has some punch in it. PopCap’s Peggle does it with simplicity and pastel colors. I’ve always thought that the first 15 minutes of the actual game will tell you is the game worth playing or not and Peggle is no exception. Peggle is definitely worth it. To put it short, Peggle is peg-smashing bouncing... (more...)

Dungeon Master’s Guide 2

Posted by MkaY On September - 30 - 20092 COMMENTS

Few days ago, I got my hands on Dungeon Master’s Guide 2 and I have to admit, that in my opinion, it is the best 4th edition release besides the actual Player’s Handbook. In fact, the book is a lot more useful than the original Dungeon Master’s Guide. Right in the introduction it states that; “A Dungeon Master’s Guide isn’t just about the rules, it’s about... (more...)

I got my hands on the book almost ages ago, but I think now I have the time to give my little review of the book (Thanks to huge amount of schoolwork and such). I’ve said it before, I am a fan of Star Wars Roleplaying, but I try to keep my post as objective as I can. So here it is: Star Wars Roleplaying Game: Force Unleashed Campaign Guide Chapter I: Species Aleena,... (more...)

Star Wars Roleplaying Game: KOTOR Campaign Guide

Posted by MkaY On September - 3 - 2008ADD COMMENTS

I have had the actual book for a few weeks now, but before yesterday I really did not take time to really go trough it. Now, after going it trough couple of times I can give my opinions and thoughts about the book Star Wars Roleplaying Game: Knights Of The Old Republic Campaign Guide. First of all I am a fan of Star Wars roleplaying, but I do lack the actual knowledge... (more...)
