Well, it’s a day after the VGAs, and, now, I kind of want to kill myself after sitting through the whole damn thing. Man, I’ve heard horror stories about the show, but I never realized how bad it was. There is NOTHING I can say that hasn’t been said before of what’s wrong with this show.
This whole show pretty much stems from one problem. It’s not an awards show, it’s a marketing event. It’s not there to celebrate games, the making of games, the developers, the community, or anything. It’s there to sell you stuff. I can go on about how wrong it is to show so few awards or how they shove off the ACTUAL GAME OF THE YEAR in order to market more things. It’s all just so terribly offensive.
Anyways, if you want to see what my reactions were while I was watching the show, I was pretty busy with my Twitter feed last night. I took all the ones I felt were the highlight(since, this is The VGAs to someone who’s never watched the VGAs)
