Today, Nintendo Wii is one of the best consoles when it comes to games suitable for kids. There are lots of Wii games for kids, but it is understandable that parents don’t have time to check out every Wii game. New Super Mario Bros
New Super Mario Bros will bring you classic sidescrolling gameplay, fun levels and new multiplayer to enhance the gameplay experience. Graphics are excellent, colors are vivid and the controls are very easy to master. This game can be enjoyed by kids as well as seasoned gaming veterans. All family members will love it. Donkey Kong Country Returns
Here is another Wii game suitable for kids. The banana stash has been stolen and Donkey Kong wants it back. Super Mario Galaxy 2
The princess has been stolen again and it is time for another adventure. This one is guaranteed to make you and your kids happy. The game is a bombardment of ideas. Why so low? Excellent game that deserves no lesser score.
Kirby’ Epic Yarn
Kirby’s Epic Yarn is yet another visually creative platformer. The game follows similar pattern with titles such as New Super Mario Bros and Little Big Planet. Titles, that have already charmed us and our kids. That said, Kirby’s Epic Yarn is another excellent sidescrolling game that takes the best out of gameplay mechanics. Why so high? Works amazingly with friends or solo. Cute visuals, happy soundtrack.
Why so low? The game is quite short. Unlockable content extends it a bit.
Mario Party 9
You may wonder why I’ve included a title that isn’t released yet (early March 2012). A fair question, but the answer is quite simple if you look at the core of Mario Party games. Mario Party titles are board games: you jump up, hit the dice and move # spaces collecting coins or candy. Then according your movement a mini-game comes into play. These mini-games have always been a thrill to play with and the information about the latest game will somewhat guarantee that your kids will like the game. Facts and screenshots can be found here.
