It certainly isn’t the price of admission holding you back, because APB Reloaded, originally developed by the now defunct Realtime Worlds, was recently re-released as Free to Play!
The simplest way to explain what APB Reloaded is, would probably be to say it’s “Grand Theft Auto” meets an “Online Tactical Shooter”. Which with hundreds of people in the same city driving around like maniacs, crashing their cars and gunning down civilians all at the same time, should give you a fair understanding of the chaos you’ll encounter the first time you log on.
But beneath it’s seemingly shallow surface elements of cool cars and hot women is a tactical shooter which may only take a few seconds to pickup but will take a little more time to begin to master.
APB Reloaded also contains what is very likely the highest level of character customization EVER seen in a video game.
Your facial features, physique, tattoos, scars, jewelry, clothing, underwear, car, decals and clan logo. Everything can be modified, at any time, to your hearts content. Assuming you’ve upheld justice or violated it enough to have been awarded the necessary cash to be able to afford it.
